We hold a Certificate of Fitness from the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) to issue flameproofing affidavit as well as to apply flame-retardant to public business buildings. We are fully insured, equipped with all the proper permits, and have full approval from the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB). Advanced Flameproofing is also a proud member of the National Fire Protection Association NFPA
Flameproofing Certificate. The Fire Department of New York (FDNY) maintains that a Flameproofing Affidavit is good for one year from the date of application. However, it is important to note that if any of the treated materials are washed or dry-cleaned, the affidavit will be voided.
